Getxo offers radio workshops, cooking, dance, makeup, yoga and... - Europa Press

The City Council of the Basque town of Getxo decided, through the municipal youth service, various courses and free workshops, radio, kitchen, dance, makeup, yoga and video creation.

As reported by the consistory of the municipality, the first of the workshops will be on video creation, in Basque, from September 25, on the premises of the Gazteleko. Organized in collaboration with the service of equality, the aim is to develop videos to present to contest ' Beldur barik', which addresses the issue of violence against women.

The course of dance will be opened in November that also in Basque, will offer notions of funky and hip hop until December 27. As of November 5, Mutriku restaurant's cuisine will be the scene of the workshop ' kitchen: Learn how to survive ', in which you will learn easy and simple dishes. Day 13 of that same month will begin the course of fiction radio. These last two courses will be taught in Spanish.

On the other hand, in the month of January the offer will continue with yoga the 10th workshop, and the last course of makeup and characterization, will begin on February 8. These two courses is eventually in Basque.

All workshops are aimed at young people aged 11 to 17, except the radio fiction, which may take part who are between 18 and 30 years.
